Risk 1 & 2 in English for B-driving licence in Stockholm

With us, you can complete both Risk 1 and Risk 2 intensive courses on the same day in Stockholm (Liljeholmen). We provide transportation from Liljeholmen to and from the skid training track (Risk 2).

The Risk 2 course (slippery road training) should only be completed once you can handle the car confidently.

What is Risk 1?

Risk 1 is the first part of the two mandatory risk training for B driving license. It is a theoretical session that addresses the risks associated with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, as well as the dangers of driving while tired and other risky behaviors.

The course is 3 hours and 20 minutes and its included ”fika”.

What is the Risk 1 course about?

Alcohol, Drugs, and Medication: The effects of these substances on driving ability and the legal consequences of driving under their influence.

Fatigue: How tiredness impairs driving skills and increases the likelihood of accidents.

Risky Behaviors: Understanding common risky behaviors, such as speeding and aggressive driving, and their potential consequences.

Emotional Factors: How stress, anger, and other emotions can impact driving.

Completion Certificate

Validity: Upon completing the course, participants receive a certificate valid for five years.

Requirement: This certificate is required before taking the practical driving test.

Requirements

To complete Risk 1, participants must:

  • Attend the entire course.
  • Actively participate in discussions and activities.
  • Show a willingness to engage with the material and consider their own driving behaviors.
  • Legitimate yourself with a valid ID document

What is Risk 2?

Risk 2 or Riskutbildning part 2 is the second part of the mandatory risk training for B driving licenses, is the practical part of the training.

In Sweden we call this course by many names: halkan, halkkörning, risktvåan, risk 2, slippery, risk 2 or riskutbildning part 2. This is a practical course where you get to experience how the car behaves on different road surfaces.

We recommend you to be in the final stage to take the course, in order for you to pass the Risk 2 you must be able to drive well.

Key Objectives

- Improve understanding of vehicle behavior in challenging conditions.

- Develop skills for managing slippery roads and sudden obstacles.

- Increase awareness of the consequences of risky driving behaviors.

All the cars in Risk 2 (Skrink) are automatic cars, and the ice on the skating rink is a real skating surface.
